Analyzify v4

Analyzify v4 introduces several major architectural changes and improvements to enhance tracking capabilities and user privacy. One of the most significant changes affects how the app is embedded into your store.

App Embed Integration Updates

The App Embed integration structure has been divided into two versions:

  • Analyzify v3 (Legacy)
  • Analyzify v4 (Latest)

Users must use Analyzify v4 (Latest) to access the new interface and features.

Key Differences Between v3 and v4

To help users understand the impact of this update, we've outlined the major changes and improvements introduced in v4:

1) Integration and Privacy Changes

  • Direct control added over app embed and pixel in relation to Shopify Privacy API
  • GTM script removed from App Embed
  • Cookiebot script removed from App Embed
  • Expanded pixel-related event scopes
  • New events, services, and parameters added

2) Integration Capabilities

Analyzify v4 (Latest) now allows simultaneous use of both dataLayer and other integrations. This provides greater flexibility in how you can implement tracking and analytics solutions.

However, it's important to note:

  • If using GTM-based integrations through dataLayer, the tracking IDs must be different from those used in Analyzify's standard interface
  • This applies to integrations such as GA4, Google Ads Conversion Tracking, and Dynamic Remarketing

New Consent Mode settings have been implemented to handle scenarios where your CMP (Consent Management Platform) cannot properly manage Google Consent Mode settings. In these cases:

  • Consent arguments are pushed directly through Shopify Customer Privacy API
  • A dedicated consent event is fired for external controls (e.g., Free Native Shopify Banner)
  • Better integration with various consent management solutions

Technical Improvements

Beyond the user-facing changes, we've made significant updates to the underlying technical infrastructure. These improvements focus on enhancing performance and expanding tracking capabilities.

Custom Pixel and GTM Container Updates

Structural changes and additions have been made to both Custom Pixel and Google Tag Manager containers, including:
