Analyzify works through Google Tag Manager (GTM), so all the data gets processed by GTM. We provide you with a comprehensive GTM container that works perfectly with our data layers - and also includes all the major tags.

At this step, our system will generate a GTM container tailored for your store . It will include all the information (IDs, labels, tag selections, etc.). You just need to download the GTM Container file and then import it to your GTM account and publish it. Everything will work like a charm.

Follow the steps below:

Step 1

Download Analyzify's Container

Download your tailored GTM container through the Analyzify app on your Shopify Admin. Click “Download My GTM Container” and save the file to your computer.

Go to Your GTM Account

Go to Admin Console

Click on "Admin".

Step 4

Import Container

Click on "Import container" on the right column.

Step 5

Choose Container File

Click on "Choose container file" and select the file you have downloaded in Step 1.

Step 6

Select Workspace

Click on "Existing workspace", and choose your workspace. Then, click on "Merge".

Step 7

Merge and Confirm

Select "Merge" (1), then select "Overwrite conflicting tags, triggers and variables." (2), and click "Confirm" (3).

Step 8

Copy “Share Preview” URL (Optional)

If you've already used your live or production theme, you can skip this step. (1) Go to the Shopify Admin page > "Online Store" > "Themes". (2) On the theme preview page, click "Preview" for the theme you configured for Analyzify in the previous step, and then "Share Preview." (3) Copy the link. We'll use this link to debug your setup with Google Tag Manager.

Step 9

Check Your Container

Once you've downloaded the container, you should be able to see the Analyzify tags as shown below:
