Advanced Setup
During the onboarding process, we’ll ask you to provide some instructions for us. We will then execute your Analyzify setup according to those instructions and move forward with:
• Setting up GTM on your Shopify store,
• Adding advanced data layers that cover all e-commerce events & metrics,
• Activating GA4, Google Ads conversions, and other pixels or integrations you requested in your brief.
What’s included in both methods (Lightweight & Advanced)?
In both the Lightweight and Advanced methods, the following components are included:
Initial Audit
Auditing your existing setup highlights current problems and helps us predict future ones.
What do we look for in the audit?
• Your Shopify tracking settings,
• The tracking scripts on your theme files & additional scripts,
• Other 3rd party apps that might conflict with the result.
We also audit the tags on your Google Tag Manager container, the conversion actions on your Google Ads account, and all the crucial settings on your Google Analytics account.
Clean-up
We do a clean-up for the script & pixels that conflict and risk your data analytics setup. Some examples are:
• Hard-coded tracking pixels that overlap,
• Purchase tracking scripts that cause duplicate tracking,
• Redundant tags on Google Tag Manager,
• Outdated tracking scripts,
• 3rd party apps that conflict with Shopify’s native integrations or other 3rd party apps.

Account Adjustments
We always start by double-checking the settings on your Google Analytics & Google Ads accounts. We then apply the best practices, fix settings if needed, and create assets according to your brief.
Real-time Data Validation
After we complete our setup, we again double-check each event & metric to ensure that your data is being correctly passed through Google Tag Manager into Google Analytics 4 and others.
We are keen on fixing any issues that are related to our product, and we always inform our clients of the solutions if our tests detect other cases.
Data Validation on GA4 (1 day after setup)
We also double-check your Google Analytics 4 account and cross-compare the numbers with your Shopify data. In this way, we ensure your data analytics tracking works perfectly and records the purchases & other events correctly.
